Save The Kimberley is at The Big Day’s Out 2011!

We will be at this years Big Day Out concerts to continue our work raising awareness about the Kimberley and the impending threat to this last great wilderness. Save The Kimberley is 100% volunteers and we thank everyone across the country helping to spread the word.

After great success at John Butler Trio and Xavier Rudd concerts a feature of this year’s Big Day Out will be the online auction of a quality Guitar artistically painted and signed by the  BDO artists.

At our stall you can learn more, pick up a t-shirt, bumper sticker or bandanna to help out and raise awareness or put your name down as part of the (soon to be) biggest environmental and cultural movement in the Country – Save the Kimberley, we only have one chance.

Save The Kimberley works with and supports the Community, Indigenous Custodians and Australian and International Environment groups working to protect the Kimberley. We engage high profile celebrities and influential businessmen and politicians, but just as important to us is raising awareness with the community. The Kimberley is too special, too globally significant. We must make sure it is not squandered for short sighted industrial development that pollutes and destroys culture and country.
