Day 10

John Butler (left) and Joe Roe (right) will be at the protest blockade in the Kimberley tomorrow morining

A quiet moment on day 10 as people take the opportunity to rest after turning back yet another Woodside contractor convoy

The blockade holds strong turning back Woodside contractors in record time this morning. The big news is about tomorrow morning at dawn when the blockade camp will be joined by musician John Butler, a long time supporter of the campaign to save the Kimberley.   John will join his long time friend Joesph Roe, Traditional Custodian and Cultural Law Boss for the James Price Point area at the blockade. The blockade is at the Manari rd turn off (to James Price Point) off the cape Leveque Rd, just out of Broome, in the Kimberley Western Australia. Be there from dawn onward 17 June 2011. All Welcome.   Joesph will be giving the media copies of his open letter to the browse joint venture partners and speaking about his ongoing role as the Custodian of Traditional Law for the James Price Point region and his responsibility to protect his Country.   Be there if you can!
